SK MAGIC MALAYSIA

Origins and Early Development

SK Magic began as a home appliance division of SK Group in 1985 in South Korea, first producing appliances like gas ovens. Over time, it expanded into other home-care products including water purifiers and air purifiers. 

Innovation in Water Purification Traditionally, water purifiers used tank-type systems that stored filtered water before dispensing it. SK Magic pioneered the tankless direct water purifier concept in Korea around the mid-2010s. This technology purifies water only when needed, reducing contamination issues from stagnant stored water and improving freshness. The company’s JIKSOO tankless water purifiers became well known for delivering instant hot, cold, and purified water without a reservoir tank, improving hygiene and convenience. 

Expansion into Malaysia SK Magic expanded internationally, including to Malaysia, bringing its advanced water purifiers to the Malaysian market. In Malaysia, SK Magic’s products have been marketed with features like Halal certification (so products are compliant with JAKIM standards) and premium filtration for clean, hygienic water. 

Brand & Market Position Today, SK Magic is recognized as a leading premium water purification brand in Korea and other markets. Its focus remains on innovation (like tankless purification and nanotech filters), advanced hygiene tech, and global expansion of its water purification solutions.
